RDP TURNED TO RENTALS

In 2015 I got local house leaese with joshco My lease expeired in 2017 and now they supposed to hand over title deeds to us since they previously said by mouth that if we carry on paying rent as per agreement after 5 years the houses will be ours so that did not happen instead I'm leaving in a house where Joshco claims I owe them but I don't even have an active lease agreement with them
