Non-delivery after payment/Alleged *****

After shopping around for 3 pallets of paving bricks on the Internet, I came across details Jhb Transport and requested a quotation from Juan. On or about the 22 June 2019 I received a quotation from him for an agreed amount of R2970.00 which EFT was effected and honoured on the 23 June 2019. A screenshot Whatsapp of this payment was sent by myself.

I had impressed that these paving bricks were needed on an urgent basis as my project was work in progress and the contractor had under-calculated the size of the space to be paved. He promised delivery on the 28 June 2019 and excuses and stories, from broken trucks on the R59 and so on started eminating from this day until the first week of July 2019 when it was clear that he is not able to deliver and I requested that he refunds my money as he is not able to keep part of his obligation. A lot of desperate smses have been exchanged and so much disregard for my pleas was expressed.

To this day, I still wait for my refund and wonder at what point do I report this matter to the SAPS as it does clearly appear like I have been de*****ed.
