Unauthorised use of a third party who damaged most of my things and never delivered the rest , with both parties not taking responsiblity

Jhb Removals outsourced my furniture removal from Joburg to the Western Cape to Megashift Logistics without informing me of this beforehand. Megashift Logistics arrived late in the day, raced to get the truck packed as quickly as possible, damaged and broke nearly everything that went into the truck (every box had holes poked into the sides or was torn or dented in the corners), a third of the load. after many follow ups with Jhb removals, they promised that Megashift Logistics would deliver the rest. Megashift Logistics did not arrive on the day they said they would, and when they eventually did arrive, not all of my things got delivered. I am now stuck in the middle of tyhe 2 parties, neither taking responsibility for the delays nor the damage to my things nor the missing, presumed ******, items. I have to nag JHB Removers for days before they come back to me, but after 6 weeks I have not yet received a response.
