JH Retief Transporters - Bad Move

My \bad move\" was to choose JH Retief to relocate my furniture when I moved to Centurion. It was arranged that on day 1, my goods will be packed, and day 2 it will be loaded to leave for Centurion. Instead they tried to pack and load everything in 1 day, using a small truck and an open bakkie.<br> When my goods arrived in Centurion, things like my washing machine, frames etc. were all damaged. The guy that was suppose to check what was off loaded was sitting in one spot not properly checking the inventory. I immediately noticed the damaged goods and noticed that we could not account for all our boxes. He disagreed & insisted that I sign the form to confirm that I received all the goods. I refused and phoned the sales guy I dealt with who referred me to Ansie, who confirmed that she will make a note of it, but noted I must still sign the form as I have 7 days to inform them of any damaged or missing goods. After I placed my claim, their insurance bluntly refused to pay. JH Retief then said that they will cover R6000, but I have a loss of about R18 000.Their R6000 does not even cover my Playstation. I also have numerous e-mails that was just ignored, even by their owner. "
