JH Generator silencers.

I ordered a silencer box from JH Generator silencers, the before sales service was great, until you pay the money. The listed pictures on their web site do not resemble the delivered product, they were around 4 weeks overdue on delivery. In discussion with Johan he expertly describes that you must have the unit outdoors and should be weather proof. What was delivered was a box poorly constructed out of chip board which is not suitable for our doors. I sent him photos of my generator so that it would fit etc. What was delivered was built the wrong way around and you could not open the side where the starter and cable input is. This is after he was given the correct information. The supposed "silencer" box is nothing but welded metal with no baffles, just there for show. The excuses are never ending. He has an agent in Durban area who seems a decent guy. He was blamed for the poor quality and chip board, according to his partner Didi this should have been Marine grade Plywood. The story is that they sent the agent the measurements and he was to make it up. The agent sent me pictures of the parcel and tracking info on the product from JH Generators. Someone was lying, but who. I received the invoice for the balance of R2000.00 promptly after delivery. I ignored this expecting a follow up call for the balance, this never came. I then requested a refund. Lots of calls that were not answered. Then receive a message to say phone not working, only Whattsap messages. I did this and no response. In conclusion I would suggest that this is a ****, they have no intention of rectifying or refunding. They do not chase the balance of the money as the R3000.00 deposit is all they want. What is delivered is posibly worth around R1000.00, however will be worthless after one rainfall. Beware of this company.
