Terrible service from Jex Energy

We appointed Jex to upgrade our grid tied solar system by replacing the inverter and adding battery backup. The installation was done a week after the promised date, the owner (Jonathan Harf) did not even visit the site, he sent an installer who hadn't been briefed on all that was discussed. Then they didn't discuss with us where they were going to drill into the wall, so they ended up drilling into a water pipe, flooding a newly renovated room and destroying the new laminate wood flooring. They then broke open the wall to repair the pipe, leaving it open ... we had to get a builder to close it up. The only thing they put onto the backup circuit was 4 TV's (we own a guesthouse), because apparently we needed to get our electrician to correct something on the DB board. They said they would be back to finish up once we had got that done. We got it done but here we are 4 months later and despite continuous phone calls and emails, I cannot get them back and the owner won't take my calls. I've even offered to pay them more to get decent service!

This is one of those operators who will impress you and say what you want to hear, right up to the time you pay the money and give the go ahead! I would strongly urge anyone to look elsewhere and not to consider these guys.
