<div>February 2023 I used Jet Pets, South African Relocations in-house pet moving company. Less than 24 hours before my dogs were due to depart Cape Town, for Riga in Latvia, I was sent an additional invoice and told that if I did not make payment within two hours, my dogs would not be flown on the booked flights. When I queried the additional invoice, I was told that the actual weights of my dogs and their crates had been miscalculated and that the amended weight was now being invoiced. When I queried the weight difference, I was told that the crates could not be stacked close together and that space had to be left for the crate handles, hence the weight difference. This was absolute nonsense. 1. The original invoice was for a combined weight of 176kg. 2. The additional invoice was for the amended combined weight of 198.5kg. 3. When my dogs arrived in Latvia, the official airline documentation was attached to their crates and the total combined weight was 135kg. I was overcharged by 63.5kg. I am not going to leave this as it seems that many of us have fallen victim to the tactics used by both South African Relocations and Jet Pets with additional invoices sent once arrangements have been finalised.&nbsp;</div>
