Extremely Disappointed with Jetour South Africa – Buyers Beware!

We purchased a Jetour Dashing after being reassured that Jetour had plenty of parts available in South Africa and that aftersales service would be hassle-free. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at all.

Our vehicle was involved in a collision over 7 weeks ago, and it has been sitting with the authorised repairer ever since. We are now approaching two months without our car, and there’s still no end in sight.

The repair process has been nothing short of a nightmare:

We were initially told the delay was due to Bidvest McCarthy not knowing which parts go where. Yes, the authorised supplier had no idea how to reassemble the car.

After weeks of delay, we were informed that some parts are now on back-order, suggesting that these parts are either unavailable in the country or were never here to begin with. To make matters worse, we’ve been told that this is the first time this type of repair is being done, which gives us zero confidence in the process.

How can Jetour approve repairers who don’t know how to put their vehicles back together? It’s a serious red flag when neither the supplier nor the repairer can competently manage the repair.

We feel completely misled and let down. If you're considering buying a Jetour, think twice, unless you’re prepared to wait months for basic repairs and deal with suppliers who are unprepared and disorganised.

Do NOT buy a Jetour. You’ll regret it if you're ever in an accident.
