Bad Hair Day

My best friend lovingly gave me a voucher to go for a treat by having my hair, face or nails done. I chose a hair cut. BIG MISTAKE! I have been once before and it was OK. I have very thick, long hair, which is a problem for some hairdressers. This time, she thinned my hair so much, there's just rats tails left. She didn't shape it (there was nothing left to shape) and cut my fringe so short, it looked like a Grade one's fringe, while leaving the top of my hair too thick and flat. My pony tail is usually about 6cm in diameter... It's down to 1.5cm.i desperately tried to fix the mess she made, myself. It looks better, but I have lost years of growth. To anyone who has long hair - be warned to stay away from this business! She has very thin, short hair, and probably resents those of us blessed with thick, lustrous hair. Whatever the reason, unless you want to come away with shapeless rats tails, don't say you weren't warned. She even had the callousness to refute any responsibility for the mess because I had the cheek to try and fix their mess! As if I would EVER let them touch my hair again!!! They should give my friend a full refund, if they have any decency.

Their defence is that because I didn't complain before leaving, and "FIDDELD" (Their spelling!) with my hair after it was done by a FULLY QUALIFIED hairdresser, they take no responsibility and consider the case closed. That I only noticed how bad it was after I washed my hair and tried to blow wave it, obviously doesn't count! I had no option but to try and fix it myself, which was definitely an improvement, but people like this never take responsibility for their mistakes because they are only interested in making as much money as possible at tge expense of others. They don't really care who suffers. Definitely not the kind of business to support if you expect good business ethics - they don't have any!
