We have utilised Jeff's Pools for 2 years. They are relatively cheap, and the service they provide is ADEQUATE, so long as you do not encounter a problem that needs particular s****, or customer care. These we found to be nonexistent.

We have an annoying tree hanging over a part of our pool, which sheds its load in Autumn each year. We take responsbility for this, and understand the frustration to "the pool guys". This season, we contacted Jeff several times, with concerns about the functioning of our pool, as a result. We have a gardner who pruned the tree, and who removes leaves daily, but it became very apparent that the pool was not functioning.

We begged and begged for repair work from Jeff, calling, emailing and speaking directly to his staff when they came. All we were ever told was to "clear the leaves and cut the tree, and your pool will work". We were doing this anyway, but knew that there was damage requiring intervention. WE WERE NOT REQUESTING FREE SERVICE. WE JUST KNEW THAT WE NEEDED SOME EXTRA ATTENTION, FOR WHICH WE WERE HAPPY TO PAY. But our requests fell on deaf, and extraordinarily rude ears.

This week, we had a new pool service come to assess the damage. They identified a broken weir and weir lid, a blocked pipe, a kreepy that doesn't work at all, and needs replacing, and also made a very constructive suggestion to install a leaf catcher (which they could provide and place). We are baffled to have outsourced the health of our pool for 2 years, to find it in such a state of disrepair, despite having requested intervention.

Before posting this, I emailed Jeff, and he told me he doesn't care about 1 unhappy customer, as he has 200 pools on his books. Splendid attitude!

To be fair though, they are among the cheapest pool service available, and were adequate for us, so long as nothing untowards happened. When it did, our pool broke and we were essentially denied reparative service. The tree had long-since been cut, and the leaves were being removed daily.

But a broken pool isn't going to fix itself. It's likely that Jeff didn't understand what I've been asking and telling him, as he never once set foot on our property.
