Got Bike Back Worse than Given In
I took my Baja Platina in for a service. The main reason for the service was due to leaking engine and one leaking front shock. I got the bike back with the same engine leak (unresolved) and two leaking front shocks.
While I originally had problems with Jeff's Bikes and Parts for some time, once the owner became properly aware of my problems it was dealt with professionally. The owner could have easily come up with excuses and tried to skirt the issues with my bike, however he personally admitted the fault and explained the reasons behind it - two bad mechanics that caused considerable problems. Their mechanics have since been replaced and the company dealt with all the issues caused to my bike without charging for the repairs. I can also now say with the utmost confidence that they have proven extremely trustworthy and reliable. They were just plagued by previously bad mechanics, a problem which has since been dealt with and rectified. I believe other companies can learn a lot from the example set by Jeff's Bikes and Parts in how they handled this problem. They proved to be above reproach and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of bike work done. It's not often that you find a company that will go the extra mile to make things right.
