Lamb curry taste like stew

My husband and I ordered lamb bunnies today, for which we paid R95 each. The bunnies had a lot of gravy and there was also a lot of gravy on the plates around the bunnies, which we thought would be great. To our surprise, the gravy was quite thick and did not taste good. It seemed as if the chef did not know how to cook a curry and the gravy tasted as if it was cooked with a kind of stock and seemed more like a stew than a curry. This was very very disappointing, as these bunnies were not cheap! Very disappointing for an Indian themed restaurant.
