Jeep Renegade advertised prise on website not the same as at dealers

Saw add on https://www.jeep.co.za/renegade regarding the Limited edition that is advertised as R455.580. We went to Jeep Menlyn to look at the vehicle just to be informed that they sell the Limited for R495.000. We asked regarding the price difference and were told that they were not aware of the special and it is not applicable to the Renegades they have available. There is only one Jeep dealer in Pretoria, so where do you then buy a Jeep Renegade on the advertised prize on Jeeps website if not from them ? If you are on jeep.co.za and want to book a test drive as well then you are also referred to the Menlyn dealer if you live in Pretoria.

The answer I got back from the SA Consumer Complaints: ---- Suppliers are not allowed to falsely advertise, as per the CPA. I would suggest you contact Jeep SA Head office, and insist on purchasing the vehicle at the advertised price. ----

We did contact the Jeep SA Head office and their reply was that they cannot comment on prices the dealers ask for their vehicles, this is very confusing. They also said that the renegades are out of stock, but at the Menlyn dealer there are still two available.

How is it possible that a dealer can have a different price on a vehicle as advertised ?
