Quality products?

<p>I purchased 3 pairs of brand shoes one of which was a pair of Jeep Semi Formal shoes from Tekkie Town Centurion store middle of last year. In the beginning of the year i noticed that the seam on the front left of the one shoe had come undone, creating a hole in the front of the shoe. Being a semi formal shoe that i wear maybe twice a week i put the shoes aside to take back for a replacement as barely a years use of a pair of shoes is rediculous, i have pairs of shoes that are older than 10 years that have not come loose anywhere. Went back to the centurion store and they said to me that they would not do anything as this was normal wear and tear... So am i to understand that a pair of shoes that you pay more than R1000.00 for is only good for a few months worth of use. I am really disgusted that this is the type of response from a company I viewed as a trust worthy brand paying more for a premium brand doesnt seem to mean anything these days.</p>
