Can you trust them to honour their promise?

I bought a REEBOK Gift Set EDT100ml PLUS FREE Deodorant Spray 200ml Assorted for R255.00. When I inquired about the "Free Deodorant Spray", the salesperson approached her line manager, who tried to convince me that this offer was only for Father's Day—despite that the card on the shelf indicated that it is valid until 11 May 2025... I was then referred to the Dis-Chem catalogue (p.4), where the offer is apparently for Mother's Day, I asked whether I could see the deodorant Spray accompanying that offer. The manager could, unfortunately, also not show that to me. My deduction is that Dis-Chem is thus not planning to honour their offer as advertised in their catalogue or price tag on their shelf—at least not at this specific branch.
