Bad workmanship, with no interest to rectify

We are really disappointed in the quality of work provided by Jaco from JdP konstruksie, he done paving for us, when he came for the quote he told us that he was a hands on contractor to ensure that quality work is done. We asked if 2 weeks would be enough time for him to do the work, he agreed, he started on a Monday, on Tuesday the bricks were to be delivered, they were a bit late, he commented that this is a concern as he needs to start work on another site on Monday, I told him that we agreed on 2 weeks to do the job, he said it will be done by Friday. Friday afternoon he told his workers to hurry up as they need to finish because on Monday they start work elsewhere. I pointed out all the faults to him he ssid that 2 workers would come back on Monday to rectify the faults. 2 workers did come back for 2 days and tried to rectify the problems, with no success, they then just stayed away. I contacted Jaco and asked that he come and see me, so that we can discuss the way forward, he said that he was sick and would come when he feels better. I contacted him again the following week, he told me that he was busy on another project and could not help right now, but said that he would contact someone else to come and rectify the problem. The person came and started to rectify the problem, they were almost finished with the work when the man contacted Jaco to tell him that he needed more money to pay for the shortcomings, Jaco told him to leave everything and go.I phoned Jaco but he did not take my call, I left him a voice message and a voice message on what's up, he still hasn't come back to me yet.
