JDN METAL WORKS - BRAKPAN

We have dealt with Dieter from JDN Metal Works in Brakpan previously, where he supp**** us with lock up gas bottle cages and we were happy with his work and service.

We again approached him in April this year to manufacture a cage for us to store wood in. He asked for payment upfront in order to get all the material to start with manufacture, which we did, seeing that we had no problem on the previous occasion. How wrong we were, this is when the excuses started.

After about 3 weeks (7th May) we contacted Dieter to find about the progress of the cage, he promised us that the cage would be finished the Friday the 10th May. The Thursday we contacted Dieter to arrange for picking up the cage on Friday, where we got told that he is still far from finished and that the cage would only be finished on the Monday the 12th May. Monday comes and we get a reply from Dieter that the cage is still not finished. He promises that he will make amends for all the delays and needs a week to sort the cage out.

The Monday the 13th May, we tried to phone Dieter but he does not answer his phone calls. Another week goes passed with out hearing from him or answering our phone calls.

On the 23rd May we get a message from Dieter, that apologizes for all the delays, but the cage is not finished and that he will be paying the money back to us. TO DATE WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR MONEY TO BE PAID BACK AND HE DOES NOT ANSWER ANY OF OUR PHONE CALLS.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PERSON, HE IS A ***** AND WE ARE NOT THE FIRST PEOPLE THAT HE HAS LEAD ASTRAY.
