Aluminium door
Ordered an Aluminium door from JD Woodentouch to replace my wooden sliding door. Shaun from JD woodentouch came to my property and took measurements. He also refered me to a builder to use to fit the Aluminium door. During the waiting period for the door, no follow up feedback was given to myself. I had to follow up with JD woodentouch on the progress. When the door finally arrived, my old wooden door was removed by the builder without measuring the new door size. Finaaly when the new door was fitted, it was much shorther and did not fit. JD woodendtouch then blamed the incorrect measurements on the builder. They did not take any responsibility as I already paid them. To date i have not received one phone call from JD woodentouch to find out whats happening at my premises. I recommend that all future client not to do any business with JD woodentouch as they are not interested in client service. I really had a very bad experience with them. The money you pay is nothing compared to the bad service you will experience.
Rennie's representative from RBS Joinery & Aluminium took final measurements for the door that had to be supp**** by ourselves since he was responsible for the breakout and re-installation of the door. Rennie gave you a quotation in the name of his own company which you accepted and you had to make payment directly to RBS and not to us. You ordered the aluminium sliding door from us and paid for it on 16 March 2015. The door was ready for delivery on 2 April 2015 well before our promised delivery date.
The statement that we never bothered to find out what happened on your premises is also not true. On the day of the installation when we became aware of the problem, Jacques from JD Wooden Touch went to your premises to assess the situation. He even recommended certain ways to remedy the situation and Rennie undertook to resolve it to your satisfaction. We have spoken to Rennie since and Rennie took full responsibility for the problem that occurred and also confirmed that he has spoken to you and that you were happy with the solution to the problem.
