UNPROFESSIONALISM and *********
Hi I purchased a Nike shox size 9 on my account on 9th March 2025 at Jd sports Canal Walk. My husband fitted the shoe and the shoe was a bit tight. On 13th March we went back to the store to exchanged for a size 10 unfortunately the branch didn't have a size 10 one of their employee's (won't mentioned names) told us he can do a IBT and called Johannesburg branch luckily they had a size 10 we paid the R50 fee for the IBT. We were advised that it will take 2 weeks for the shoes to be at their branch. We will then exchange the size 9 and take the size 10. On 21 March 2025 I purchased my son's shoes at Jd Sport Canal Walk and wanted to know if everything in still in order with my husband's shoes because the shoes was for eid hence why we did the IBT thinking okay the shoes will arrive before eid, another employee checked on their system and advised us the shoes is in transit. We were happy because everything seemed sorted. 2 weeks went past I called the branch (Canal Walk) to find out if the shoes arrived I was told the shoes did not arrived yet. They will call me as soon as the shoes arrives. We got hold of the guy that did the IBT he advised it normally takes 2 weeks 4 days. After a few days I called the branch again one of their employee's(a different person) he was so full of attitude telling me I need to hold the call he want to assist another client. I was so ****ed off because the way he spoke was very unprofessional no customer services morals. After being placed on hold for a few minutes I dropped the call and called back. Another employee answered I explain to her what happened she apologized and was very nice. She advised me that the 2 employee's werent suppose to tell me how long the shoes will take to arrive. She called my husband back the next day advising him she can't say how long the shoes will take to arrive. After several calls made to the branch I was told that the IBT was not logged on their system. I was sooo furious and wanted to know how come I was told it was in transit only now after a month I'm being told we won't be getting the shoes because it wasn't logged.I also told them I'm taking this up with the NCR and they didnt seemed to be bothered. I asked to speak to a manager someone spoke to me as the manager, when I asked her if she's the manager said no. A manager then contacted me in last week, saying it's protocol to give me a 15% discount but he will give me a 20% discount on the next pair of shoes I'm purchasing and they will refund my R50. I was **** to, mislead, and given wrong information. They have no customer services ethic. To my thinking I might be wrong but I think the shoes arrived and it was sold to another customer. I have proof that the IBT was logged so what happened to the shoes? I'm so angry and disappointed by the way this matter was handled.
