Outsurance and *********** assesor JD Kleu

After the heavy rains in August and September, I experienced a roof leak that resulted in a small section of my study's ceiling collapsing. At that time, I was insured with Outsurance, and they sent Mr JD Klue to assess the damage. However, I recently had solar panels installed, and Mr Kleu saw an opportunity to take a shortcut. He sent one of his workers to inspect the roof and told me that the worker found a broken tile under the solar panels. I was furious with the solar installer and immediately called them to demand that they fix my roof. However, upon inspection, they showed me that none of the tiles were broken and even took some pictures to prove it. Unfortunately, they still charged me R930 for call-out and labour fees. Even after being made aware of the situation, Mr JD Kleu did not apologize. This experience left me disappointed, and I ended up cancelling my long-standing relationship with Outsurance. I refuse to be insured with a company that employs *********** people like Mr Kleu.
