I paid R27300 to install new solar panels for my pool. After the work was 'completed' I called them back to say that it was leaking from the roof. They came back and 'fixed' it, but the problem continued. On the third occasion I thought it had been fixed because the leaking stopped. I later found out however that all they'd done was divert the water away from the solar panels. So I paid R27300 to have the water merely bypassed straight back into my pool without being heated. When I confronted them on this, they apologised and sent out another subcontractor to look at the panels. He confirmed that the original installation wasn't properly fixed to the roof, so the tubes had drifted down the roof and torn apart, hence the leaks. The entire system needs to be replaced at a new cost of R35 000. They now refuse to compensate me in anyway for the R27K I paid for a system that never worked. DO NOT USE THESE *******!
