JBM PHOTOGRAPHY PTY LTD TAKES ALMOST 8 YEARS TO PAY BACK CLIENT AFTER SERVICES THEY PROVIDED WERE NOT DELIVERED TO DATE

Good day everyone, I hope you are doing well, my reason for posting on this page is to make you all aware of the owner of the company, who used to be a very good friend of mine until he cheated me for work I paid him to do on 31 December 2016.

This was the day of my wedding, andi hired Jonathan to do the video and photography as I have worked with him and know the quality of his work and he was my friend.

Of course being a friend to him he gave me a discount which I paid over the next 2 months...

Everything was fine, and since he was my friend I trusted him and paid in full by the second month that being February 2017. Little did I know that he was going to do this to me, it was a matter of R3500, he knew that the video and photos were either ******* or something had gone wrong with the raw footage but he told me that he was still working on the video, not all photos were given to me and they were not edited, now I'm a photo and video editor myself.

Since April of 2017 up until today 09 November 2024 he has only managed to pay back R1500 he owes me a balance of R2000 which over the years he kept on making excuses as to why he can't pay me back, I'm currently unemployed and even on many occasions I asked for my money to pay doctors fees he had excuses, it's either him and his family are in hospital or were in an accident and yesterday I sent him a message and as usual he is ignoring me, I can send screenshots of my whatsapp conversations from 2022 onwards...

I even asked my uncle who was a Captain at a local police station, (he is now a Colonel) to call Jonathan and ask him to pay my money but Jonathan only paid the R1500 in 3 payments since 2017 and now we are almost at the end of 2024 and my money is still not paid in full.

I don't know what else to do anymore to get my money back, if he could do this to a friend like me who got him back his job at one of a very well known studio in Durban then imagine what he will do to clients whom he don't know...

On 31 December 2024 will mark 8 years since Jonathan was hired to do video and photography for my wedding and I paid in full but the job has not been delivered nor has my money been returned to me... Each time I ask for my money he makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong but he has been making me beg for my money for the past 8 years...

I'm letting people know about my experience with this company so that 8 years down the line you don't have to beg for your money because Jonathan did not deliver the finished product for services he was hired to do...
