JBL Headphones flimsy connection

After 2 months of purchasing JBL Headphones (E65BTNC) the connection between the headphone and head band broke. Inspection reveals a very flimsy and fragile plastic pivot connection. According to the local distributor spare parts for this section are not available. The distributor commented this is a design problem with JBL headphones. Communicating with JBL customer service on the JBL official website was non-responsive.
