Huge disappointment: JB Tours Namibian Train Tour

We went on the above train tour from 20-26 July 2015. This train tour is advertised by JB Train Tours as a \success story"but we experienced it as a \""disaster story\"".
The \""well priced\"" tour was a 'very expensive\"" tour due to the following:
The \""upmarket\"" train according to the brochure was recently refurbished. *******! The train is in shambles with toilets back flushing and some cabins were at times without water. The bathroom is minute and not suitable for adults. The mattresses are so thin that you are basically sleeping on the base and provided with single duvets that when turning your whole backside is open.
The \""superb\"" meals consisted of the SAME breakfast every morning"

Hello normagroen,

Good afternoon Norma. Thanks for your message (via Hello Peter) and concerns raised. We take notice and appreciate the fact that everyone can't be satisfied every time all the time. I.e.: We've received e-mails from other passengers on the same tour informing us that they'll recommend the tour to friends and family.
Over all the years, we've only received compliments about the food on the Desert Express train. The variety, taste, volume and quality of the meals have been outstanding for many years. What went wrong on this tour? We trust that you've reported it to the tour guide whilst on tour to be rectified immediately.
The lay out and facilities on the train are explained well in the Info Doc about the tour. No hidden surprises. YES, the bathrooms ARE small, like on any other train.
We'll communicate with the service provider, TransNamib, about the thin mattresses and small duvets. This is new to us. Normally the bedding is sufficient.
Our apologies for any possible inconvenience caused. We trust that you've enjoyed the beauty of Namibia, the friendly people, the interesting tourist destinations and the capable tour guide.
Looking forward in welcoming you again on board.
