Clueless about what vegetarians eat
<p>Just came back from a dessert express tour through Namibia organized by JB tours....R24 500 a couple....fantastic tour and guide....sadly no proper food for vegetarians. We were 3 vegetarians on board....we could never enjoy the buffet breakfast or 3 course meal at supper time....reason....they simply are totally clueless as what vegetarian people eat....not a bean pulse or lentils insight....this after there confirmation that they do cater for vegetarians.I did post this on the SA vegan fb site....and now 3.9 k people in SA will think twice before booking a holiday with J B tours....</p>

Thanks for your concern raised. We've made contact yesterday with the on board train manager to establish the situation. Feedback was received that alternatives were offered and that you were satisfied with it.
They agreed to the fact that a wide enough variety was not available mainly due to personal choices.
Our sincere apologies that all your diet needs were not met nor satisfied however we trust that you've enjoyed the rest of the tour. You are most welcome to travel with us again.
