Updating Home Building Plans - waiting for years

My home that I bought was registered in December 2022. Despite my clear specifications and queries before the purchase was confirmed that the building plans for the property should be up to date and Johan Basson’s (JB Inc Attorneys / NBV Inc) personal assurance that it is update; it was found in 2023 that the building plans are outdated and require updating. We are now heading towards three (3) years that I have been struggling to get Johan Basson (JB Inc Attorneys / JB Inc Attorneys / NBV Inc) to have the building plans completed, updated and approved by the local municipality. A deposit was paid to an Architect in September 2024 to update the building plans, which was completed in January 2025. The Architect is unable to submit the building plans to the local municipality; due to the fact there are costs involved and penalties to be paid before the municipality will accept and approve the plans. This municipal statement was submitted to Johan Basson (JB Inc Attorneys / JB Inc Attorneys / NBV Inc) on 7 February 2025 and to date no payment has been made to the local municipality. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating that I have paid a large amount of money for transfer and registration fees to JB Inc Attorneys and yet do not have my home’s building plans up to date – which creates a serious and ongoing to concern me that I am unable to sell my home until the building plans are correct and up to date with the local municipality. All my e-mail, telephonic and Whatsapp communication to Johan Basson is being ignored. Johan, please give this your urgent attention and ensure my buildings plan are submitted and approved by the local municipality and that all required outstanding payments to the get this resolved are done without delay.
