defective product

From the day after i purchased my jawbone UP 2 fitness tracker, at least once a day the clasp kept on opening and the band falling off.The inevitable happened when after a few weeks i noticed it missing.<br> When i called the distributors, they advised they were aware of numerous complaints of this happening and in fact Jawbone now supp**** a security clasp as an add on. Firstly i was never advised nor given this clasp and secondly how can one sell a knowingly defective item without warning the consumer.<br> Pathetic service.
