Jasmins Bridal Hostile to browsers

My dad, my cousin and I began to look at wedding dress options for my overseas fiance. We had just started shopping today and we went to Jasmins to check what they have, to at least get some ideas and perhaps buy something if they had anything we liked. This is the first time we walked into this shop. As soon as we walked in, there was no service for us. We wondered about and ended up in the bridal section, which was in a large room. But before we could look at the dresses we discovered that this entire room was being used as a dressing room. My dad and I were awkwardly ushered out while my female cousin could look around. We then went into another room that had dresses we could look at in peace, supposedly. An assistant then came. We told her we are just browsing and looking at some ideas for now. We were then rudely told that we are not allowed to look to get ideas because we might copy them elsewhere and the shop was an exclusive shop. We walked out after an argument, shocked that we were not allowed to simply browse. It was utterly ridiculous and when we called for our complaints to be taken to the boss, staff began ardently defending the boss. We'll never go back there again.
