Bad after service
Jardine Flooring installed a wooden floor throughout my home, the installation was well carried out however the front door would not close as it had not been shaved enough to accommodate the wooden floors. I reported this but got no response, eventually I gave up and got a handyman to fix the door. A few weeks later I noticed that there was a bump under one of the joins so I called Shane and asked him to please look at it because I was concerned that moisture may get under the flooring. I have now called 3 or 4 times and each time I am told that he has diarized it and will attend to it within a few days. The last time I called he recognised the number and did not take the call.

It is extremely disappointing for myself, as a long-serving Flooring Company, to receive my first negative report like this. I am glad however, that you do state that the installation was carried out well.
I have noted that all our correspondence on Acceptance of work & the signing of my Terms & Conditions, date of installation etc, are all documented by email. However, there is no email regarding this particular workmanship claim.
My Terms & Conditions clearly state that a workmanship claim must be submitted to us via email, to protect both parties from what has obviously happened here. I do apologise if it slipped my mind to attend to your door. I encourage all our staff to insist that our Customers document their requirements by email so that a requirement like yours can be allocated to the correct responsible person.
Please be assured that I never disengaged a call thinking it may be you.
You still have a five year guarantee & can make use of that at any time.
I apologise for not correcting your door on your telephonic request & am more than willing to reimburse you for your handyman service.
