WANTING TO COLLECT MONEY ON PRESCRIBED DEBT

<p>On Wednesday, 11.05.2016 I received a text message from Jansen Attorneys stating an account needs to be settled. I contacted them Immediately. I advised the consultant that this debt has prescribed, hence I am not liable to pay. </p> <p>I followed up with an email stating that account was prescribed, however should he state otherwise, he will need to provide me with original contract, proof of the date of default & handover amount and a breakdown of all the costs.</p> <p> </p> <p>He told me I would receive this by COB ( 11.05 ). I follwed up everyday thereafter with still no proof. This account has prescribed, I am not liable to pay anything and I will not pay. Should this not be resolved immediately - I will have no option byt to go to the credit Ombudsman as this is affecting my homeloan application. </p>
