OWNDER REFUSING TO PAY BACK DEPOSIT OF R3500.00

I am battling to get my rent deposit of R3500.00 back. Jamie Levin property Owner is refusing to pay the deposit back. He tells me that I am not within my rights to claim back the deposit since I did not give them the 20 days' notice, and yet the owner is the one who left me with no choice due to non-delivery of service which took them 5 days without having it fixed. And I decided to move out of the unit on 1st Feb 2015.<br> The DB box main switch in my unit had a problem, started on 27th Jan 2015, and I reported to the Owner on 28th Jan 2015 at 06h35. When I switch on anything appliances in the house, including the lights, the Earth Leakage Switch was tripping. The owner promises to sort the problem out, and no service was delivered rather receiving excuses and empty promises. I have been living with no power in my unit for 5days. Bearing in mind this is not an Eskom issue but of a Service Provider Jamie Levin of J Corp Trading failing to deliver their service. Food and meat went off, and was thrown away in these tough times. Unplanned expenses living on junk food since had to feed my 6yr old daughter and 13mths baby. Living in this unhealthy condition and yet I pay for their service
