Jakkalsvallei Furniture - BE WEARY!

Jakkalsvallei seem like a lovely up & coming company, but I think they are overwhelmed. Bianca, the owner, seems lovely & very helpful, but the table that arrived was not at all the order that was placed. The measurements were wrong, and the color + style was not close to what was discussed per Facebook messenger (she only communicates via Facebook messenger, occasionally on email and the cellphone number diverts to a message service) Sometimes there is no communication for long periods which leaves one feeling uncertain. The incorrect set was collected, and eventually a second set was delivered - raw pine with marks on, again, not in the style discussed, and it arrived unassembled, with *****s that require professional tools to fasten. I had it fixed by a professional woodworker. I was so sad & disappointed as I waited long both times. I was patient with all their unforseen circumstances and all I expected was regular updates & the expected product at the end of the day. There was no further communication from Jakkalsvallei after the second delivery. Like they say in Afrikaans: goedkoop is duur koop.
