Not as expected

We were really looking forward to a beautiful stay at Jade Equestrian with our 2 children. Upon arriving on the property, there was no bell or way to get in. After about 20 minutes of waiting, one of the people on the horse farm let us in. We drove to the back, very unsure of where to go because of all of the farm equipment and things. The home owner came out to great us and directed us on a sand road to the back of the house. There were tractors, *******, cars, barbed wire, and broken glass in the road. We are not unreasonable people and we do a lot of traveling, but we decided right away this was not the right place for our children to stay. *Please note the outside pictures are nothing like what was advertised on Booking.com. We decided not to even go in the apartment because we were planning to have a relaxing time with the children out in the garden, but it was simply too dangerous to have our children on the property.

We would not had made a deal of it, but the owner AND booking.com sort of just brushed us aside and said they would only give us a refund if someone else booked in the property. We are going to contact the Department of Tourism to inspect this property as it was very unsafe.
