Worst Wedding Photos ever Jacques Coetzer Photography

Don't allow this person to "*****" your most precious day's moments & memories by taking BLURRY photos; photos that are burnt out; and missing the most important moments (like the exchange of rings, mother of the bride and the bride, walking down the isle, your venue of choice, couple photos) on your most special day ever...

We paid the FULL R12000 for a package with 350 edited photos, a large photo book album, along with two A5 photo albums for the families, as well as all the RAW photos in their unedited state, so that we could see every moment of our wedding day after the rush and excitement.

On 26 November 2015, 6 days after our wedding on 20 November 2015, I asked for a photo of us as a couple, smiling, in order to send a THANK YOU for attending message to all the family. And two days later, I asked for a few edited photos to use for a Bridal competition.

We received about 7 photographs 14 days later, with me as the bride looking 10 years older than I am, with shadows under my eyes.

When we finally received 2 DVD discs with some of the rest of the wedding photographs in JPEG format, which we only received from him while we were visiting my Dad in Pretoria by the end of February 2016 (3 months and 6 days after our wedding on 20 November 2015)... the rest of the photographs were either blurred and out of focus, the focus was on the wrong subject matter (i.e. LEAVES instead of the Groom's face), or burnt out due to the aperture of the lens opened so wide that the groomsmen's shirts look like they're glowing!!!

So, we tried to stay positive and a family member & friend had to organise repeatedly to get the photographs in "RAW" format from him.

That was at the END of March 2016.

We only received the photographs in *. DNG & *. PNG format, and NOT in *.RAW format as requested.

Now we also know why we didn't get our "Engagement" shoot photographs that were taken on 25 October 2015 BEFORE our wedding day on 20 November 2015!!!!

Because he only gets one out of 10 shots ALMOST right.

The engagement photos were also included in the photographs that he finally sent to us via family living in Pretoria/Tshwane area.

We sent him an email on 24 April 2016, to request that he pays us two thirds (R8000) of the money that we paid him back, but he has not answered our emails, has been ignoring our messages, avoiding our calls & hasn't even attempted to call us back.

We have shown his "handiwork" (or lack thereof) to a few professional photographers, without mentioning names, and they are all of the opinion that the quality and worth of the photographs that he took on our wedding day is worth R0 to R2000 maximum. They don't even want to quote us on editing some of the photos in order to have a small memento album of our wedding day, due to the fact that the photographs have too much "noise", are blurry and have bad lighting.

Our only hope to have beautiful photos of me as the bride in my wedding dress (which I will have to rent again) and my husband in his wedding suit, is to have a "re-shoot" or even just a studio photo shoot...

Which will cost us approximately R6000 (dress, hair, suit, makeup, photographer, travel to the venue etc.) ,excluding a Photo Album & the printing & editing thereof.

We've also come to the knowledge that he uses his SECOND photographers' photos on his *Facebook Page* & the website that he used to have, and that he didn't WIN the Wedding Vendor Awards in South Africa as he stated in his Facebook page & website (sich has since been closed it seems).

Seeing as we've kept his name ANONYMOUS up to now, and kindly asked him to reimburse us, so that we don't have to take this matter further with legal action, you would think that he would have the decency to respond.

He hasn't.

So, do yourself a favour and don't LOOSE your most special day's memories.
