Jacobson & Mellet INSURANCE BROKERS POOR SERVICE!!!! !!

Very poor service...We are EXTREMELY Disappointed.... .... On Sat 30 June my son was driven off the road to avoid an accident. This just outside Nelspruit.... After extreme stress and anxiety his car just would not start and he was kilometers away from Nelspruit.His permanent home in Pretoria. He called Jacobson Roadside assist who arranged a Tow as we are supposed to get 4 free tows a year and a rental car was offered. I personally also spoke to the Jacobson Assist who assured me that for no cost on our side a tow and rental car would be provided. There was no place in Nelspruit who able or even willing to take his car that afternoon so the car was to be returned to Pretoria. I wish to mention this. In the last year I personally visited Libbey to ensure our package included a tow anywhere in South Africa as well as car rental unlimited. This in case of accident or break down. We have been clients of Jacobson nearly 40 years. Firstly the tow truck demanded R5250 and then on car rental returns we were informed that our DEPOSIT PAID WAS NON REFUNDABLE. A week ago "LIBBEY"THE manager.... ASSURED ME SHE WAS GOING TO SORT THIS OUT. STILL NOTHING.... ANOTHER ***** CONCERN. OUR INSURANCE WAS TO BE WITH HOLLARD INSURANCE COMPANY. WHY, AFTER THE INCIDENT HAPPENED COULD HOLLARD NOT GET THE ACCOUNT NUMBER??? ACCORDING TO HOLLARD WE ARE NOT INSURED WITH THEM?? HOW CAN JACOBSON WHO ARE ONLY THE BROKER JUST GAMBLE WITH OUR SAFETY AND OUR MONEY? ON MAKING ENQUIRIES I WAS TOLD MR JACOBSOHN WAS NOT AVAILABLE, APPARENTLY NOT ALIVE ANYMORE SO WHO DOES THE COMPANY BELONG TO?????? .
