Disappointed with service

About 2 years ago I had Pool Perfect Centurion at my place to fix the swimming pool. They fixed it, but only finished the metabolite job. They got another call for a job elsewhere and disappeared without completing the job. They later phoned and demanded R17400 for their work done. The pool remained unfinished and stayed that way for 2 years.. When I eventually started renovations in June 2016, I got Jaco Pool and Plumbing out to renovate the bathroom and toilet. His work was So impressive and on time that I asked him to quote me for pool and paving. He quoted me R13000 for the pool and R5000 for the paving around the pool, with the cost Labour still to be added. He furthermore quoted me R2000 to remove the rubble in the backyard. In November 2016 i arranged with him that I'd pay R3000 into his account monthly so that he could fix the pool, and once I had paid up the full amount, work can commence to finish the pool during the April school holidays. Once that was covered, I'd start raising the R5000 payment for the paving, and the same arrangement app**** so that he could do the paving during June school holidays. After having made 4 payments of R3000 per month for 4 months starting January 2017, Jaco called me after the Appril paymentreflectes in his account informing me that he could start with the pool before the paving was done, and wanted the R5000 rand immediately. On transferring the money I told him ot come see me about the type of paving I wanted around the.pool. This too did not materialise. After I transferred the R6000 to his account, he called again and said that the paving couldn't be done unless the rubble had been cleared, stating that he already got someone to remove the rubble and they were waiting for their money. This hold up was preventing him from commencing work. I transferred the R2000 to him to my detriment in order to get the job done as the preparation was for my son's birthday party. To my detriment Jaco ordered grade 3 paving without consulting with me on the type paving I wanted. On 26 April Jaco sent me an invoice for R26800, and informed me that they wouldn't be able to.work because he's given his team off for the long weekend. Jaco came once and drained the green water from the pool and had his outsourced connection take the rubble away, but the pool remained like that for a month. Jaco informed me that he doesn't only work for me and has other clients as well. I made an alternate arrangement and put in leave at work for the first week of May. Jaco didn't pitch up as arranged. By day 3 I went to work and cancelled what was left of the week's leave. By this time R22000 had already transferred to Jack's account, covering pool. Paving and rubble removal. Jaco arranged again for the weekend, but again didn't pitch up. The pool was still in the same condition, but with rain, the water started filling up again. I called Jaco and arranged for the 19-21 June, to which he agreed. He didn't pitch up and said I was being unfair to him as he had other clients other than me as well. The pool water by now is green again and the newly painted blue marbilite too is starting to than green. Jaco tells me he would work in the school holidays. By this time the R3000 for May and June had also left's to Jack's account on time to finalise the payments. June holiday started and no sign of Jacko again as usual. I contacted Jaco stating that I wanted him to repay my money so that I could get someone else. Jaco's response was that he said he'd work in the school holidays which is 3 week's long to finish this nightmare and get me out of his life, and not one week as per my expectations that he work for me in week one. Again I was informed that he has other clients other than myself. In the first week of the holidays he arrived for one day to do the paving, and eventually on 12 June he arrived to do the paving. He phones me to ask if I'satisfied with the paving and informs me that it's my responsibility to put in powder, chlorine floater and the creepy kraully. Following the telephonic discussion he tells me to pay up the outstanding money so he can move on. He emails me an invoice for R29850 with R1850 outstanding. At the beginning of April I referred Jaco to a friend. During the June long weekend we got together and monagain other things, discussed the referral. My friend complained to me that Jaco was giving him the run around as well. I have no intention of making use of his services again. Picture 1 is what I requested. The rest is what I received or ended up with.
