No response

Elusive, and telephones dont work.Telkom informs me they "not listed at their request". My problem is as follows: I wrote this week to the main suppliers in the UK and am awaiting their response: To: DeAgostini model space in UK: Re Jacklin/ now Econovix.

Hi, I wrote to you last year to try resolve a problem with my Build the E-Type Jaguar.

My subscriber number is: 4H000215

You told me to try and contact them telephonically. As previously I kept getting the "out of order" signal. Then in January, I received an email from them with their new name and detail, and the new payment information. They had changed their name to Econovix (Pty) Ltd .

This week out of desperation, I tried again, and instead of signals, there was a recorded message saying " the number you dialled does not exist" !?

I then tried contacting the telephone departments listing number to see if the had it. Tel: +27 1023. They did a search for me and said: "the number you require is NOT listed at their request"

Strange, I thought, but there was now no way forward for me from this side.

Hence my request for further assistance.

The problems: 1: On Nov 26 2019 there was a deduction of R599.60 from my account. Normally, after there has been a deduction, about three weeks later the courier arrives with the issues. To date I have received NOTHING! surely, that is a breach of contract and *****?

2: There are also 5 (five) missing issues, which when I had managed to still contact them early last year, they said they were awaiting these from you. The issues are : 38; 39; 42; 51 and 53.

So here I am, after having spent a considerable of money, especially for a retired person with no income, sitting with a useless partly built model, which I really would like to complete. I have posted on the members pages my build progress and all the additional modifications I have made to add to its authenticity. Making a loom and personalised shock absorbers, and covering the back floor in leather with additional leather added to the tunnel etc.

Can you PLEASE help?
