Jacklin Enterprices - unacceptable returns policy

I received a phone call from a representative of Jacklin Enterprises who was trying to sell a series of books to me for R 1400 @ a cost of R141 a month. I wasn't sure if I could afford the books but agreed to it since there is a 14 day returns policy. Almost immediately I regretted my decision but the books were delivered to my home before I could conttact them. Nevertheless I looked at the books and my budget and confirmed that I definitely could not afford them. I emailed Jacklin on 15 February, however received no response. I called them on 16 February to find out, to my dismay that they will not come pick up the books and that I must deliver them to a private bag address in Centurion. Firstly I live in Durban and its a big package and I never imagined that I would have to return the books at my inconvenience and cost. And it will be a huge cost. Then we all know the problems with the post office, thats probably why they delivered the books home. They want me to bear the risk of returning the books as they will only credit my account once they receive the books. This is preposterous and unacceptable. They must effect return in line with the consumer protection act.
