DON'T PAY ANY AMOUNT GIVING YOUR PARENT LIFE RIGHT

My father was a resident at Jacaranda Haven from September 2009 till 2 November 2011.<br> <br> Mrs Dawn Janse van Rensburg approached me with a contract and she said Jacaranda Haven and us as a family would benefit from the proposal and that other residents signed the contract to get the same benefits. <br> <br> If we paid the amount of R500 000-00 to Jacaranda Haven, my father would have life right and it would be stated in the contract if he dies within a certain amount of years/months that the amount would be paid back to us in full or on a pro rata basis. A contract was given to me and signed by both parties and witnesses.<br> <br> I paid the first installment of R250 000-00 at the end of October 2011 and my father died on the 2nd of November 2011. The amount of R250 000-00 was suppose to be refunded immediately to us.<br> <br> n short, it is now 5 years later. Bits and pieces of this amount was paid back to me over the last 5 years. Jacaranda Haven still owes me the amount of R150 000-00.<br> <br> I've asked to be at the next board meeting, so that I can state my case. She is ignoring any requests from me.<br> <br> If any one can help me to get a hold of one of the board members it would really be a big help. <br>
