Jaca FM Competitions Are ****s.

Jacaranda FM competitions are ****s. Don't expect to get the prize they promised you.

I'm really disgusted. I didn't think I would ever have to write this review because I truly believed that Jaca FM are the kind of people who kept their word.

In May 2018, I was called by Morne' JK and given the wonderful news that my mother had won a Bosch Dishwasher for Mother's Day following a SMS competition I had entered that week. Rian van Heerden called me and my mum on air, on Friday, the 11th of May to give her the wonderful news. They then promised us that the dishwasher would be delivered to her within the following week.

It is now the 23rd of December and after being told repeatedly by Morne JK that there was a problem with the suppliers - whereafter he promised that all would be resolved soon - we have still not received the dishwasher as promised. In fact, I am now being ignored by Morne JK on WhatsApp. I then reached out to their Facebook page and was also given the following message:

"Good evening Anri, We apologise for the delay.

Please rest assured that your case has been escalated to the relevant department. They are currently in talks with the supplier to get a delivery to you as soon as possible.

Regards, Jacaranda FM"

Well, I'm not sure what their idea of "soon as possible" is. A year later perhaps? Absolutely pathetic.

My mother and I are really disappointed. She really needed the prize and was super excited about getting it.

I would advise you not to waste your time on Jaca FM competitions. You'll be genuinely lucky if they remember to get your prize to you at all.
