Jacana Administrators – Delayed Justice, Poor Communication & No Accountability

I’m a 21-year-old student who was rear-ended by a Jacana Administrators client. The driver, who is younger than me, had only recently received her license. Despite her being clearly at fault, I’m now stuck in a slow, frustrating, and unfair claims process.

Jacana has given their client 30 days to submit documents before they even begin processing my claim. Meanwhile, my car is undriveable, and I rely on it daily to attend college. This delay is affecting my education, my mobility, and even my health — I’m now dealing with back pain from the impact.

To make matters worse:

I was told I’m not allowed to contact their client, yet she has made no effort to reach out. Her mother took over communication, which raises serious questions about accountability. We both went to the police station for a report, yet Jacana’s communication has been slow and unhelpful. I understand claims take time, but daily updates and transparency should be standard — especially when the third party is suffering. It feels like Jacana is protecting their client and trying to get her out of the situation, while I’m left to suffer the consequences. Just because I’m young doesn’t mean I should be blamed or overlooked.

If you’re considering Jacana Administrators for car insurance, be aware that their process may leave innocent third parties like me stuck without transport, support, or justice
