These people are ****mers. BEWARE!!!

So I app**** for a loan with these people today. I was approved in relatively quick time. Then I received a message to say that they would be sending through a debit order mandate to Discovery Bank. I got the notification from Discovery Bank. When I opened the notification, it said that they had received a debit order request, but that it had failed.

I then contacted Jabalani and asked them about that. They said that they are having an issue with Discovery Bank and debit orders, but that they would phone me back within an hour. This didn't take place. I phoned again, and then I was told that they don't do debit orders with Discovery Bank because some other company called Hyphen is apparently providing technical issues. Now I cannot get the loan anymore.

In future, I think it would be prudent to inform your clients via the app or via your website that you do not deal with discovery clients and that if they do bank with discovery, it's not a viable option for them. Getting somebody's hopes up and then dashing them two hours later is despicable behaviour. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I have reported you to the National Credit Regulator.
