J Isaacs & Associates - Legit?

I received an email from J Isaacs & Associates claiming that they are the legal representatives of MFC a Division of Nedbank. They may or may not be but why does a company of such standing send one an email with no letterhead, no logos, no company signature at the end of the email, a mweb email address and then when I call them they merely answer "Hello". No company name, no name of person, etc. If this is legit then MFC should think twice using this company.
