Terrible removals experience

This was supposed to be a simple household move from Mafikeng to Potchefstroom. We inspected the inside of the van when it arrived to find that it was wet - there were holes along the top of the van and water had leaked in from front to back. Some boxes and blankets were too wet to use and when we complained the receptionist told me that they would make some arrangement. The packing staff were *********** and the packing materials were inferior. The packers packed a number of breakable items without even protecting them in paper. Their packing boxes used very thin cardboard and many of them collapsed when other boxes were packed on top of them. We had a number of breakages including our TV stand, the top of which was ********** the rest of the unit, glassware, crockery, a statue and glass in pictures. A number of items went missing (in particular some bottles of alcohol). My phone call to the company was met with a request to submit picture evidence and a list of things broken or missing. This I did, sending them around 30 pictures of broken items and packing anomalies. Every subsequent effort on our part to get a response from this company was met with complete silence. All email correspondence was ignored. We didn't get an apology or even an acknowledgement stating that they had received our email or that they were looking into the matter

I do not recommend this company at all.
