Lodge invested with sand lice

It was me and my friends birthday weekend away with our family all so excited. When we got there the place looked so amazing we thought we gonna have a ball of a birthday weekend away. Kayleigh that works for IZungla Lodge told us we must spray our selves with insect repellent when we get there and so we did through the whole time we stayed there but it seems that insect repellent doesn't work for these sand lice. The first day was hot and they had a private pool so we all went for a swim afterwards we went lying on the sun beds and a few of us got bitten by sand lice. The evening we chilled by the fireplace that had build in seating areas with loose pillows. The next day when we woke up my 3yrs old boy had a huge rash/bight marks all over his body so I asked my friend if her kids also have a rash and yes on their arm body legs. I had to rush to the doctor in hluluwe cause I was devistated. He told me that it was insect bites! We wanted to do trial walking to watch the wild life and our day got ruined due to sand lice all over the property. The couches pillows everything was invested by sand lice. My friend picked up a pillow and hold it under her arm when she put it down her whole arm and side of her body was a huge rash. We had to go sit on the outside furniture that had no material covering. So our whole experience was one big itching experience! I send the lodge a email about the couches and pillows that are invested with sand lice and they rep**** sorry for the "not so good experience" you guys had. The owner rep**** to my email saying "we regret that you experience an unusual skin reaction" but it was not just me it was all of us. I even send them fotos how bad the rash/insect bites looked. But that is the reply you get! The covers of the pillows and sitting area on their website and other sites are not the same they have in the lodge. False advertising!!Our whole birthday weekend away was ruined due to the sand lice!
