WORST Insurance - *****s

I was high-jacked, 9 February 2023, whereby I was involved in an accident caused by the hijackers’ hitting a tree. Due to this I was completely knocked out and rushed to hospital. I received a message from First Help the following week, informing me that the vehicle was towed to their premise. I had to get special permission from the doctors and hospital to be taken to First help. First help was informed about my Insurance details, whereby Old Mutual was contacted by First Help. I was in Hospital for 3weeks. Operated and struggled with blood infection (Photos has been taken). My stomach, Kidney and Liver was injured during the accident. I never received any communication from First help or Old Mutual. I had to make contact with the Insurance, Old Mutual every time, whereby Old Mutual’s service has left me utterly disgusted. No communication, poor service, Excuses, no responses and rude, arrogant agents. • I DID NOT sign or fill in the Tow slip for First Help • The vehicle was towed from First help premises to Auction Operations. • Old Mutual took an obscene amount of time with the claim where I was not informed at all where the vehicle was taken from First Help or taken to Auction Operations • The owner of Auction Operations contacted me a week after my claim was denied to inform me that the release fees is R34 822. Payable by myself. • I was informed a week after Old Mutual denied my claim that the vehicle was at Auction Operations. • The vehicle has been sold by Auction Operations • I did inform Auction Operations that I was busy dealing with Old Mutuals Legal department and complaints department. No communication from any of these departments what so ever. • I have turned to the Ombudsman in the meantime and are still waiting for their feedback. • My vehicle was taken *****ent by First help and taken to Auction Operations. The vehicle was taken without my knowledge or permission. • I have been informed that a lady working at First Help has been fired in the meantime for selling the wrong vehicles and or *******ly selling vehicle. • I have all the proof that I did not sign any documents and NO communication from First Help, Old Mutual and Auction Operations. • I have photos of my vehicle before and after as well as medical injuries • Old Mutual did inform me that they arranged with Avis for car rental, however, thank goodness I did not accept otherwise I would be responsible for the Avis fees. • Old Mutual has thought of every possible excuse to deny the claim. • My question is that: Now I am sitting without a vehicle whereby between First Help, Old Mutual and Auction Operations has the money. It seems that between these three companies, it is most unlikely that someone is not getting a kick back or filling their own pockets. *** *** *** *** ***
