Unsolicited insurance telesales from iWyze while registered on The DMA National OPT OUT Database
Today I was contact twice within 5 minutes by the iWyze call centre if I wasn't interested in an insurance. There are 2 things that bother me the most and that is: 1.) My phone number is registered with The DMA National OPT OUT Database 2.) During my first call I asked the agent to lose the number as I do not wish to be contacted.
My number is not listed as public and also I have used the The DMA National OPT OUT Database. This means that iWyze has obtained my number *******ly and also failed to lookup the number in The DMA National OPT OUT Database and also in breach of section 69 of POPIA.
However iWyze still contacted me twice in 5 minutes from 2 different numbers. This is an passive aggressive tactic to sell new insurance policies to people and I am not impressed at all that iWyze has the audacity to call my twice even though in the first call I clearly stated I wasn't interested and not to call me again.
