Unfair Treatment by Iwyze insurance for claim ***

My Friend had a very bad experience with Iwyze, on the 11 January 2025 her car was involved in an accident driven by her brother. The accident took place at Swartkoppies road around 23h00. Her claim was rejected as the assessor concluded it was gross negligence. On the statement the third party stated that they were bumped from the back while stationary waiting for two cars to pass. Which is inconsistent with my friends statement which states that they were were speeding at 80km/h with max speed of 149km/h. The statement further states that they yielded at the intersection which the robot was not working. The crash occurred as they crossed the intersection cause the third party driver just jammed in the middle of the intersection and as the insured car tried to swerve from right lane to left lane then crashed left back side with the front right side. For that the claim was rejected stating that was gross negligence. The roads of South Africa are not safe at all and at night we just rush to get home safely. My friend has been paying premiums diligently and is left with storage costs as the assesor took time to conclude the case.
