Unfair cancelation of insurance

So my mother has or had car insurance with @OldMutualSA @iwyze and was involved in an accident. She claimed and was approved and was given a courtesy car and then @iwyze decides to cancel her insurance whilst her car is being fixed. So now they wanna take away the courtesy car leaving her with no car and the insurance has been canceled. So why can't they wait till her car is fixed before they can cancel the insurance or rather wait till her car is fixed so they can take away the courtesy car?
