TREATING CUSTOMER LIKE A ********
I have been with Iwyze (house insurance) for many years and never claimed before 2017. Then we had a break on 22 Oct 2017, whilst we were in church and had damage to the security gate and front door. The security company and CPF chased the suspects so they did not take anything from the house. The next claim was on 17 April 2018 for our gate motor that was ****** during the day (many houses in the area had theft and it was a syndicate in our area) - we installed a beam to ensure that this does not happen again. Unfortunately there was nothing that we could have done as this was crime related incidents. No fault from our side and we have had police case numbers assigned.
Last year on 6 June 2019 our geyser burst and it was replaced. The temperature is extremely hot and I have asked by email and telephonically that Iwyze must please request the supplier that installed it to please come out and change it to a lower temprature. It is so bad is is actually burning us. NO RESPONSE WHATSOVER. I even phoned the supplier myself and he advised that only IWYZE can ask him to come and set it to a lower temperature. Again it is not our fault if a geyser burst.
Then to make things ever worse, I received a letter from them to say that I have claimed too many times and that my installment is going up and the access amount is increasing from R750 to R1500. I have send a email to follow up on things that were on my claims details, but I dont know what it was for = building storm excluding hail?? I never submitted weather related claims. It was 2 for theft and 1 for the geyser.
I need the geyser temperature to be set lower urgently and I need to know what the weather related claims is about??
